Personalize Your Wellness Plan

Find hidden stressors in your "healthy" diet and home and create a wellness plan that takes your unique sensitivities into account in this online course with optional group coaching.

This course is for you if -

  • You have tried popular diets and supplements, but never seem to have as much success with weight management and/or feeling better as others.

  • You have been told your symptoms are normal and/or part of getting older.

  • You are doing the "right" things but are still not feeling well.

  • You are willing to consider removing some "healthy" foods from your diet and making some changes to your home environment.

Why this course exists

I got very sick following generic health advice that was not healthy for me. I was adding "healthy" high-oxalate foods like spinach, beets, and almonds to my diet. I had moved into a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walking trails and community events, but the house had hidden mold. My body was trying to tell me something was wrong, but I did not listen for a long time because I thought I was doing the right things to be healthy. When I finally started paying attention and turned a skeptical eye towards my "healthy" diet and home, everything changed. I discovered I was particularly sensitive to oxalates and mold, which my body was being bombarded with, thanks to my "healthy" diet and home. After reducing oxalates in my diet and reducing mold in my home, I went from having no social life and thinking I was going to have to quit my job to spending lots of time with family and friends and working more hours than I ever have before, because I want to. I spend time on things like this course because I believe too many people are sick due to blindly following generic health advice, and I want to teach as many people as possible how to figure out what is healthy for them, just like I figured out what is healthy for me. My method focuses on identifying potential stressors, taking charge, and trusting your inner scientist. You take back control over your health and create a wellness plan that is right for you.

About me

I have a MS in Nutrition, PhD in Food Science, and am a Certified Building Biology Environmental Consultant. After recovering from my own health challenges by changing my diet and environment, I started helping others do the same. I found the method was consistent, but the diet and environment changes needed were different for everyone.
